My name is Dinorego Bauba Mphogo, I am a university lecturer and CSIR scientist in Pretoria, South Africa. At CSIR I am a Product Life Cycle Specialist in the Manufacturing cluster in Centre for Robotics and Future Production Systems. At Tshwane University of Technology, I teach Computer Science and Computer Systems Engineering.
I have university training in Computer Science and Electronic engineering from the University of Witwatersrand and Stellenbosch University respectively. My thesis was on collision avoidance of multiple agents titled "Cooperative collision avoidance for unmanned aerial vehicles". I hold a Master of Engineering in Robotics from Stellenbosch University. Additionally, I hold a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Computer Science with distinctions from the University of the Witwatersrand. At Wits and Stellies, I received numerous awards including University Entrance Award ,certificate of merit in Software Engineering, Algorithms Analysis, Post-graduate Merit Award and I also became a Golden Key Society Member.
I have research interests in machine learning theory, robotics, model-free control systems, reinforcement learning theory, software testing and engineering, web-development and system analysis and design. Although I do not have background in economics, I do enjoy reading up about microeconomics. I have worked in the industry for a short period of tome, here is my working history:
